Trenton, Texas -- Lee R. Alley, 88, of Trenton, TX, passed from this life on January 9, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in Richardson, TX.
Lee was born on February 8, 1937, in Bartonville, TX. He was the son of Hansfard Loy and Mary Emarine (Fipps) Alley. He graduated from Congress High School. On March 8, 1955, he entered active duty with the United States Army, where he achieved the rank of PFC. On January 24, 1959, Lee married T. Louise Haynes in Marietta, OK.
After he was discharged from the Army, he began his career as a mechanic and worked at North Texas State University.
Lee was a member of Crossroads Presbyterian Church. He was active with Meals on Wheels and the SNAPP Center. He loved woodworking, making acoustic Guitars by hand, along with clocks, boxes, and other items.

Lee is preceded in death by his wife, Louise; parents, Hansfard and Emerene Alley; a brother, Davis Alley; and a daughter, Diane Alley.
Surviving are his daughter, Dailene Alley of Sherman, TX; a son, Robert Alley of Trenton, TX; sisters, Laverne Alley of Melissa, TX, and Delma Alley of Whitewright, TX; five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., on January 25, 2026, at Crossroads Presbyterian Church, 15859 State Hwy 160, Blue Ridge, TX 75424. Rev. Scott Leslie and Rev. Harry Meissner will officiate the service.
His cremains will be interred at Little Elm Cemetery in Little Elm, TX.
