Sherman, Texas -- Wanda Donette Sullivan of Sherman, TX, left this world on January 6, 2026, at 64 years of age. She was surrounded by the people she loved, and who loved her. Donette enjoyed life - being on the beach at Cabo, playing horseshoes, and growing flowers. She was a loving mother. By far her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, Carter, Jayda, Jaxxon, and Harper.

She was employed at Texas Instruments for several years and by Double “D” Machines. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels.

Donette was born on May 8, 1961, to Don and Charlene Wilson and graduated from Whitewright High School in 1979. She married David Sullivan on August 3, 1985, and they had two daughters, Amanda and Lindsey.

She was preceded in death by her father, Don Wilson, and survived by her mother, Charlene Wilson, her husband, David Sullivan, and daughters, Amanda Summers, with grandchildren Carter and Jayda Summers, and Lindsey Garza, with husband Dylan, and grandchildren Jaxxon and Harper Garza. She will be missed by her brother Ricky Wilson, his wife Roxie, and sister Kathy Masters, and her husband Tom. Also, numerous friends and family are feeling the loss of our Donette.

A service celebrating Donette’s life will be held at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel on January 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Brian Taylor of Forest Avenue Baptist Church will officiate.

It is a tribute to her memory, the way she was supported and cared for as she fought this final battle, these last few months. She will be truly missed.
