Sherman, Texas -- Margaret Lucille Weber, 83, of Sherman, TX, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at her residence.

Margaret was born December 4, 1942, in Sherman, the daughter of John Robert and Mary Jane (McDaniel) Mitchell. She was a graduate of Bells High School and attended Grayson County College.

She married Joe M. Weber on March 12, 1982, in Sherman. Margaret was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary Post 2772 and of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John Mitchell; sisters, Jane Coder, Dorothy Stephens, Patsy Forsythe; and grandsons, Jeremy Raner and Dale Thomas.

She is survived by her sons, Justin Raner and his wife, Kathy, and John Raner and his wife, Kelly; her daughter, Pamela Raner Pate; step-daughters, Jo-Ann Schnitker and her husband, Bob, and Nancy Brown and her  husband, Laffell; grandchildren, Amanda Patterson, Justin G. Raner, and John J. Raner, Mathieu Raner; and five step-grandchildren, several great-grandchildren,
nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, at Waldo Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Murphy, of North Park Baptist Church, will officiate.
