Bonham, Texas -- Services for Billie June Flowers will be held at Cooper Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., with burial following at Allen’s Point cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons.

June (Deyhle) Flowers passed away on Tuesday, January 6 at her home. She was born July 12, 1935, In Selfs to Bill (Charles Willard) and Mattie Lee (Daniels) Deyhle. She grew up north of Honey Grove in the Selfs – Allen’s Point community. She graduated from Honey Grove high school in 1953. She married Billy John Flowers on September 29, 1956, and they eventually made their home in Bonham.

June retired from the Texas Department of Human Services in 1993 after 35 years of service. She was an active member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association and Allen’s Point Cemetery board. June also served many years on the Fannin County Child Welfare Board. She was a member of First Christian Church in Honey Grove. She loved keeping in touch with her many friends and was instrumental in helping to plan and prepare for the Honey Grove High school reunions. Her family celebrated her 90th birthday in July with a big party, and she was able to see and visit with many of her friends and family.

June is survived by her daughters, Susan Toland of Bonham, Kim Barber and husband, BJ of Leonard, daughter in love, Lori Johnson of Morgantown, WV. Grandchildren, Jordan Toland (Tiffani) and Jared Toland of Bonham, Justin Flowers (Lauren) of Whitewright, Kevin Barber (Haley) and Kelsey Terk (Tommy) of Leonard; Jenna Toland of Sherman, and Jayna Deloach (Kobe) of Commerce. Great grandchildren Kaylie and Kayden Barber, Kayson, Grayson, and Ororo Toland, Cooper and Hadlee Flowers, and Emma Terk. Brother-in-law, Bob Flowers of Paris, nieces Brenda Hevron (Jimmy) and Debbie Mitchell (Mark), and special cousin Peggie Moore, who she always called her “sister”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 57 years, Bill Flowers, and Son, Johnny Flowers.

Donations in June’s memory may be sent to the Allen’s Point Cemetery Association, or the Willow Wild Cemetery Association.
