March 15, 1965 – December 19, 2025
Bonham, Texas -- Tammy June Reich, 60, of Bonham, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025.
Tammy was born on March 15, 1965, in Antlers, Oklahoma, to Melvin Rodney and Bobbie Sue (Blankenship) Lovitt. She devoted her life to her family and her community with boundless love, kindness, and a generous spirit.
Tammy’s career was marked by her dedication to serving and nurturing others. She worked for many years as a paraprofessional with Bonham Independent School District, where she touched the lives of countless students and colleagues with her patience, warmth, and unwavering support. After retiring, she continued her work in education at Footsteps & Fingerprints, a place that brought her continued joy, especially as it allowed her to be near her beloved grandson, River.
Above all else, Tammy cherished being a mom. Her children were the heart of her world, and she reveled in every moment spent with them. She delighted in family gatherings, especially at Christmas — a season she truly loved. Tammy treasured the memories of the family Christmas parties they would throw for the whole family when her kids were still living at what is home. She also found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, including watching her favorite soap operas, The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful.
Tammy’s greatest pride and joy was her grandson, River. Being part of his life brought her immeasurable happiness, and she embraced every opportunity to care for him, laugh with him, and make lasting memories together.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Sue Lovitt and her father Melvin Rodney Lovitt.
Tammy is survived by her daughter Andrea Sanderson and husband, Derek of Bonham, TX, son, Drew Reich of Grand Prairie, TX, grandson, River Sanderson of Bonham, TX, brother, James Rodney Lovitt and wife, Alisa of Nashoba, OK, niece, Robyn Fry and husband, Andrew Fry of Dewey, OK, nephew, Blake Lovitt of Nashoba, OK, cousins, Brad Luman of Dallas, TX and Brian Luman of Mena, Arkansas, special friends Denise Perryman of Whitesboro, Texas and Deborah Boyce of Bonham, Texas and many other cherished relatives and friends.
She will be deeply missed by her family — her children, her grandson River, her extended family, and her many friends — and by all who were touched by her generous heart and loving nature.
