Leonard, Texas -- Ashley Lesa Randa, 33, of Leonard, Texas passed away on December 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was born on May 31, 1992, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, the daughter of Darrin and Denise Schultz.
Ashley worked as an orthodontic assistant, but most recently was an account analyst for CVS. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Kurt Randa, whom she married on September 14, 2017, in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.
Ashley and Kurt met at Normandale Community college in 2011. Their first date was snowboarding together. Ashley loved snowboarding and was excited to share it with the kids as a family activity. Ashley and Kurt enjoyed a life that they worked hard to build together. Ashley supported Kurt in his pursuit of different careers, no matter where it led. Ashley moved to Eveleth, MN in 2014 while Kurt worked at Giant’s Ridge and she started her dental assistant career. This is also where Ashley learned her real passion for orthodontics. After a time, Ashley and Kurt agreed it was time for a change and moved back to Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. In 2020, they made a big step and moved to Texas after Ashley said she did not want to miss this opportunity to get out of the Minnesota cold weather. They spent a wonderful 5 years in Texas.
Ashley loved their life in Texas and found a great orthodontic practice to work at where she made lifelong friends. Most of all, Ashley was a devoted wife and mother. She wanted the most for her family and did everything she could to achieve it. Ashley enjoyed music, snowboarding, skating, antique shopping, restoring furniture, coloring, and tattoos.

Ashley is survived by her husband, Kurt Randa, children, Ensley (7) and Emmett (4) and her beloved fur baby Oakley (9); parents Darrin and Denise Schultz; brother Hunter Schultz; aunts and uncles Kelly Schultz, Ryan McDonough, Mike Starr, and Dennis Finn; grandparents Darlene McDonough, Pat Schultz, Pam Starr, and Harvey and Debbie Finn; her in-laws Keith and Deb Randa; Matt and Kirsten Wagner (niece Stella and nephew Finn); Erik and Sarah Randa.
