Honey Grove, Texas -- Rayetta Copening Falls born March 15,1943 in Arlington, TX. Passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025. She was the daughter of Raymond Lee Copening and Viola Marie Sherwood.

Rayetta attended Honey Grove High School, where she was a majorette. Rayetta married the love of her life, Charles Howard Falls in 1991, and they raised their family in California. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother and father, and brother Carlton. Surviving members are her son Justin, brother Bobo, grandchildren Zachary and Tristan.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Rayetta Copening Falls will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Honey Grove, Texas.
