Bonham, Texas -- Tammie Ka Gunter, 59, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones after her long courageous battle with cancer. Arrangements are under the loving care of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX.

Tammie was born on March 18, 1966 in Irving, Texas to Pamela Parker and Wray Morris. She remained strong and resilient over the last 3 years battling cancer and consistently showed up to support others with her generosity and caring smile. She was secure in her Christian faith and known for her creativity and crafty side, selfless acts, and her work ethic that shined in all aspects of her life. She took pride in her job as a lab technician for more than 30 years where she met many, many coworkers over the years who became lifelong friends.

Tammie found the most joy in spending time with her family, especially her 5 grandchildren, who called her Tiki. She showed up to support them in whatever activity they were participating in, even on her bad days. Her hobbies included many things over the years from scrapbooking, playing bunco, diamond paintings, sewing, and collecting a multitude of different items such as EVERY Disney VCR tape or Disney DVD, and Ty Beanie Babies. She was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, Dr. Pepper fanatic, and should have been a groupie for Motley Crue.

She is preceded in her death by her father Wray Morris, stepfather Jerry Parker, grandparents Billie and Pat Carlile and Beatrice and Jim McKay.

Tammie is survived by her daughters Maddison (Brandon) Davis, Sarah (Jake) Walters, her son Britton Foreman, stepsons Nolan Gunter and Riley Keyes, mother Pamela Parker, stepmother Carletta Morris, brother Jason (Amber) Parker, sister Leah (Jason) Caylor, sister Jen (Chris) Davis, partner Jeff Keyes, as well as her 5 grandchildren, Charlotte, Hudson, Laikyn, Baker, and Aspen, and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

While her life here on this earth was cut short, her body has been made new and she is now rejoicing with our Savior in heaven. “He will wipe every tear from their eyes, there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away" -Revelation 21:4
