Grand Prairie, Texas --
More than 400 students will receive their diplomas as the University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) celebrates its Fall 2025 graduating class on Tuesday, Dec. 16. Two ceremonies are scheduled – at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. – at the Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie.

Albert C. Black, board chairman and founder of On-Target Supplies & Logistics Ltd. will serve as keynote speaker for both commencements. A Dallas native, Black launched the regional logistics management firm in 1982; it now employs more than 260 people across Texas, Arizona and California. A graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, he later earned his MBA from Southern Methodist University and has spent decades leading major business, civic and higher education organizations across the state. Black’s daughter Cora, 35, will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She returned to college last year.

The 11 a.m. commencement will recognize graduates of the School of Business and School of Education, and the 3 p.m. commencement will recognize graduates of the School of Behavioral Health and Human Services and the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Cora Black will be part of the 3 p.m. ceremony.
