Leaves are free mulch and wildlife shelter. Many butterflies, moths, and beneficial insects overwinter in leaf litter.  Rake onto beds and under shrubs; mow-mulch lightly on lawn; skip bagging if you can.  A tidy edge and a wild middle keep neighbors happy and soil thriving.
