Dodd City controlled the action in the opener with a 25-13 victory, and then the Lady Hornets turned back TCA in two close sets, winning 25-20 and 25-19 to earn a sweep.

Dodd City's Addison Weeks led all hitters with 17 kills and Gracyn Shindler also finished in double figures with 14 kills. Kodi Dorau put down four kills.

Weeks came up with a team-high 14 digs, Shindler got under a dozen digs, Adisen White finished with four digs, while Kaleigh McBrayer and Kenzi Freeman each had three digs.

White led Dodd City at the service line with five aces, Kendyl Lindsey had four aces and Weeks had three aces.

Dorau had a team-high two blocks, with Caroline Lackey and Weeks both finishing with one block. 

Dodd City will host Savoy on Tuesday, October 21 before closing out district at Ector on Friday, October 24.
