Fannin and Grayson counties, Texas -- The Texas Department of Transportation officials today announced an upcoming bridge replacement project scheduled for Grayson and Fannin County.
RB Contracting, LLC of Sumner, Texas was granted $2,294,026.67 and 350 working days to complete the project at the following locations:
• Prescott Road at Draw (Grayson County)
• County Road 2410 at Tanyard Creek (Fannin County)
• County Road 3040 at Polecat Creek (Fannin County)
• County Road 2905 at Sloans Creek (Fannin County)
• County Road 2105 at Robert Springs Branch Tributary Creek (Fannin County)
• County Road 3805 at Spring Creek (Fannin County)
This project involves replacement of existing bridges and approaches at each location and is scheduled to begin on Nov. 3, weather permitting. The contract is projected to be completed by May of 2027.
During construction, temporary road and lane closures will be in effect. Drivers are required to exercise caution and follow signs, observe barricades, and reduced speed when approaching work zones.
