The Ector Lady Eagles dominated the court Friday night, sweeping the Savoy Cardinals in three straight sets with scores of 25-16, 25-3, and 25-19.
The Lady Eagles showed strong teamwork and consistent play throughout the match. Adalynn Dederick led the way with 11 aces, 6 kills, 8 digs, and 16 assists, while Alana Mackey added 6 aces, 8 kills, 4 digs, and 9 assists.
Ally Harris contributed 1 ace, 4 kills, and 6 digs, and Lydia Essary put up 3 aces, 1 kill, and 6 digs. Aleea Wheeler was also a force at the net with 7 kills and 1 ace, and Audrey Arie chipped in 1 ace, 2 kills, and 12 digs.
Rounding out the team effort, Ella Laymance recorded 2 kills and 1 dig, and Odette Cruz added 1 kill.
The Lady Eagles’ strong serving and balanced attack proved too much for Savoy as Ector continues to build momentum heading deeper into the season.
