After a strong showing against a state-ranked Class 2A team, the Dodd City Lady Hornets will be on the road Friday at Miller Grove.

Dodd City is ranked No. 17 in Class A and the Lady Hornets are 13-12 on the year.

The Lady Hornets have an open date on September 23. Dodd City will host Avery on Friday, September 26, followed by a visit to Grayson Christian on September 30 and a home match October 3 against Sulphur Bluff.

Dodd City will open district October 7 at Savoy.
