Dodd City overwhelmed Miller Grove, winning 25-10, 25-9 and 25-17 to earn a sweep on the road.
Addison Weeks led all hitters with 18 kills, Gracyn Shindler dropped in eight kills, Kodi Dorau finished with five kills and Kaleigh McBrayer put down a kill.
Shindler handed out a dozen assists and McBrayer had 10 assists.
Shindler also had a team-high 11 digs, followed by Weeks (9), Kenzi Freeman (4), Kennedy Chaney (3), Caroline Lindsey (2), McBrayer (2), Adisen White (2).
Weeks led Dodd City at the service line with five aces, Lindsey had three aces, with Dorau and White both slipping a pair of aces through the Miller Grove defense.
Lackey and McBrayer each had one block.
The Lady Hornets have an open date on September 23. Dodd City will host Avery on Friday, September 26, followed by a visit to Grayson Christian on September 30 and a home match October 3 against Sulphur Bluff.Dodd City (14-12) will open district October 7 at Savoy.
