Bells, Texas -- The Leonard Lady Tigers improved to 26-2 on the year and 2-0 in District 11-3A with a three-set win over the Bells Lady Tigers.

All three sets were competitive, but Leonard picked up an important win on the road by reeling off wins of 25-19, 25-18 and 25-20.

All the Lady Tiger hitters played prominent rolls, with Leah Stoy and Bella Neaville both knocking down nine kills, Riley Brown and Avery Ross each slammed down six kills, Madison Jones put down three kills and Olivia Aylor contributed a kill.

Ava Flowers  dished out 31 assists and slipped a team-high four aces through the Bells defense.

Emma Houser came up with five digs to go along with one ace.

Stoy had three aces.

Aylor had six digs and an ace.

Leonard has another challenging match on the road Friday at Pottsboro, while Bells has a bye on Friday.

In the JV match, Bells won the tiebreaker, 15-11.
