Ector put away Class 2A Axtell, 2-1, in the first match. Ector held off Axtell, 29-27, in an exciting opener, but Axtell answered with a 25-15 win in the second set. Ector took the match with a decisive 25-16 victory in the third set.

In the second match of the day, Ector and Mildred split this first two sets, with Mildred winning the first set, 25-12, and Ector responding with a 25-20 victory in the second set. Mildred clinched the match with a 25-10 win in the third set.

The third match of the day pitted Ector against Class 4A Bonham and it was Ector coming out on top, 25-20, in the opener. Bonham posted a 25-22 win in a pivotal second set and Bonham won the match with a 25-12 victory in the third set.

The Lady Eagles are playing some really good volleyball against some bigger schools and good teams! Keep up the great work girls!
