Leonard, Texas -- In a non-district match Friday evening, the Leonard Lady Tigers cruised to a three-set win over the Tom Bean Lady Cats.

Leonard posted wins of 25-15, 25-11 and 25-9 to improve to 25-2 on the year. 

The Lady Tigers are ranked No. 2 in Class 2A.

Leah Stoy led Leonard with 12 kills, Riley Brown was close behind with 11 kills, Madison Jones knocked down eight kills, Ashlynn Cavendar slammed down six kills, Avery Ross finished with five kills, while Caroline Holton and Madison Prather put down one kill apiece.

Alexis Randall dished out 31 assists and Jasper Cunningham handed out 11 assists.

Olivia Aylor came up with a team-high six digs and Emma Houser had five digs and an ace.

Leonard (25-2, 1-0) will travel to Bells (2-0) on Tuesday, September 16 for an important District 11-3A contest.
