Ivanhoe, Texas -- Stacey Danelle Sanders-Bowen passed away on August 20, 2025, at her home in Ivanhoe, Texas, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 1,1969, in Grapevine, Texas, to Danny and Joyce Rodgers.
Stacey stepped into the world of customer service, where her innate ability to connect with people shone brightly. She was known for her patience, her ever-present smile, and her willingness to go above and beyond to help others.
Stacey's love for her family was immeasurable. She found her soulmate in Rick, and their love story began a new chapter on October 10, 2013, when they exchanged vows and solidified their commitment to one another. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories. Their favorite times were spent on the family land out in Ivanhoe.
An avid reader, Stacey loved the adventure within the pages of her favorite books. Her culinary skills were another source of delight for her family and friends, as she enjoyed cooking and sharing her delicious creations, especially during the holidays, which were her favorite time of year.
Stacey embraced the role of MiMi with open arms, and her grandchildren were the light of her life. Whether she was cheering them on at sporting events or simply spending time with them, they were her pride and joy.
We take comfort in knowing that her faith has carried her home and that she is now at peace.
Stacey is preceded in death by father, Danny Rodgers, brother, Jeffery Rodgers, and granddaughter, Remi Sanders.
She is survived by husband Rick Bowen, son, Chris Sanders and wife, Cailee Sanders, mother, Joyce Rodgers, and grandchildren, Henry, Emri, and Lennyn.
