Texas Rattlers make history in Nashville, head to Austin for Gambler Days
Aug 19, 2025

Texas’ record-setting perfect game came against Missouri Friday night (428.25 – 263.5) before dropping games to the Kansas City Outlaws and Oklahoma Wildcatters Saturday and Sunday respectively.
The Rattlers sit only behind the league-leading Arizona Ridge Riders (9-2) and Austin Gamblers (8-3) in the standings. Texas and Austin look forward to the upcoming game on Saturday where they will compete head-to-head in the Land.com Texas Cup Showdown, an in-state rivalry.
The Rattlers (7-2) joined the Florida Freedom as the only two teams in the PBR Camping World Team Series to accomplish the 5-for-5 feat of perfection thus far this season and the only team to notch three perfect games in league history. Missouri dropped to 4-5.
Leadoff rider Brady Fielder remained flawless on the 2025 campaign with his sixth ride in as many outs followed by a ride by Daniel Keeping, who was then 5-for-9 on the season. Winy Paulo dos Santos kept the trend rolling, riding Outlaw for 85.5 points with rides by Claudio Montanha Jr. and Ezekiel Mitchell following. For the Thunder, Paulo Eduardo Rossetto earned his first ride of the season in the lead-off spot.
The (6-4) Kansas City Outlaws bounced back to pick up a clutch win Saturday over the (7-3) Rattlers in in Game 2, 259.75-175, despite Texas’ Australian ace Brady Fielder improving to a perfect 7-for-7 on the season courtesy of an 87.5-pointer on Cutting Edge Sugar Daddy. Dawson Branton went on to record an 87.5-point ride atop Cramer, but the Outlaws were up to the task.
Entering the matchup last in the standings, the Oklahoma Wildcatters pulled off a huge upset against the Rattlers Sunday 175.75-89 to improve to 2-9 and snap their five-game losing streak. Texas fell to 7-4 with the loss. Josh Frost earned his third ride on the season atop 38 Special for Oklahoma’s early lead. Cort McFadden sealed the deal with a 90-point ride on Doze You Down, tying his second-highest career score; McFadden’s 46.5 rider score was a substantial three points above his bull counterpart. The Rattlers’ lone ride came from Ezekiel Mitchell atop Rockville for 89 points.
