Leonard, Texas -- The Leonard Lady Tigers helped sophomore setter Ava Flowers celebrate a remarkable achievement while improving to 11-1 on the year with a four-set win over the Wolfe City Lady Wolves on Friday.
Flowers chalked up her 1000th career assist during the match.
Against Wolfe City, Leonard controlled the action in a 25-14 win to start the match.
Leonard edged Wolfe City 25-23 in the second set, but it was Wolfe City with a 29-27 win in the third set.
Leonard bounced back with a 25-16 victory in the fourth set to notch the streaking Lady Tigers' fifth-consecutive victory.
Madison Jones and Leah Stoy both knocked down a dozen kills and Bella Neaville was also in double digits with 10 kills.
Riley Brown put down five kills, Avery Ross had three kills, and Caroline Holton chipped in a pair of kills.
It was a night to remember for Flowers, who dished out 44 assists to her Lady Tiger hitters and managed to collect three kills and three aces in her spare time.
Olivia Aylor finished with a team-high 11 digs, one ace and one assist.
Emma Houser came up with four digs.
Neaville was a force at the net with two blocks.
The Leonard Lady Tigers will take on Bonham at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the gold bracket of the North Hopkins Volleyball Tournament.
Leonard will host Trenton on Tuesday, August 26.
