McKinney, Texas -- Yea! High school football is here! Although a scrimmage, the McKinney Lions show a lot of promise for the 2025 season. High temperatures didn't suppress the joy, smiles and determination of the proud Lions.

Numerous alumni coaches are carrying on the Lions' grit culture. One new defensive coordinator, alumni Josh Uland, not only played for McKinney High School but his father was also a revered coach. His defense made some impressive wholehearted stops along the way while holding the Everman team to no first downs during the set play scrimmage format. Great showing!! Our Lions are back!!
