Big things are happening in a corner of the state known for its quiet beauty and strong community ties. Native Prairies Association of Texas’ newest chapter is taking root in Northeast Texas, where prairie advocates are already stepping up, sharing knowledge, and building momentum.

This chapter will serve 14 counties: Franklin, Titus, Camp, Morris, Cass, Marion, Upshur, Wood, Hopkins, Delta, Lamar, Red River, Bowie, and Rains.

This region is home to some of the most stunning native grasslands in the state, including Daphne Prairie, where the chapter is hosting an event this month.
