THE BONHAM CITY COUNCIL WILL BE MEETING FOR THE PURPOSE OF
REGULAR MEETING

REGULAR MEETING AGENDA
Call to Order
1. Consider and take action to approve the minutes of the July 14th regular meeting.
2. Consider and take action to accept the financial report for the month ending July 31, 2025.
3. Citizens Opportunity to Speak: [The City Council invites people with comments or observations to briefly address the Council for the limited purpose of determining whether the matter should be referred to staff for study and response and/or be placed on a future meeting agenda. Local practice limits comments to three (3) minutes or less. State law prohibits the City Council from considering deliberations on any item not listed on the posted City Council Agenda.]
4. Consider and take action to appoint or reappoint individuals to the Bonham Economic Development Board
of Directors.
5. Consider and take action to select a firm to provide engineering and design services for the City of Bonham
Jones Field Airport.
6. Pursuant to chapter 551, Texas Government Code, the Council will convene into closed executive session
to discuss the following:
(A.) §551.072: Deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property concerning 36.698 acres of land, a part of the Mary Caldwell Survey Abstract Number 180 and a part of the Joel Anderson Survey Abstract Number 12, lying and being situated on the North side of Lake Bonham in Fannin County, Texas.
7. Reconvene in open public session and take possible action on the matter discussed during closed session.

In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, the City Council reserves the right to convene in Executive Session, as deemed necessary, to seek legal advice from its attorney on any item identified in this agenda, as permitted by law, or to consult with its attorney about pending or contemplated litigation, settlement offers or any matter in which the duty of the attorney to the City Council under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
