The Sam Bell Maxey House State Historic Site, a Texas Historical Commission property, was built in 1868 in the High Victorian Italianate-style as the home of Samuel Bell Maxey and his wife Marilda. Currently, the site is looking to expand our programming and, later this year, renew our Interpretive Master Plan. As we get ready to look at the stories we tell, we are asking for input from members of our community to understand what is most important to them. Please consider taking this brief survey to share your thoughts on the site and what is most important to you, even if you have not visited the site before. All responses are optional, and you may remain anonymous if you wish. The survey can be found at: https://bit.ly/maxey-survey.
