Bonham, Texas -- Lindia Lou Miller, 63, of Bonham, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on April 26, 2025.

Lindia graduated from Whitewright High School in 1980. She later pursued her passion for helping others by earning a degree in drug and alcohol counseling from Grayson County College. Among her greatest accomplishments in life were her two sons, Gary and Daniel. In 2005, she married her husband, Eric Miller.

Lindia loved simple joys — long conversations on the phone with her friends and fishing in the pond behind her house. She had a generous spirit and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. But more than anything, Lindia loved being “Nana.” Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she never missed a chance to brag about them. “Nana’s angels,” as she lovingly called them, meant the world to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorotha Hughes Parkins and Thomas Parkins, as well as her three sisters, Dorthy, Martha, and Joann.

Lindia is survived by her husband, Eric Miller; her son Gary Baker and his wife Laura Baker; her son Daniel Baker and his wife Sarah Baker; her siblings, Noba Henderson and Tommy Jean Parkins; and her cherished grandchildren: Leilani Gaither-Baker, Brayden Baker, Max Pike, Averlee Baker, Nora Pike, Fiona McGrail, and Rowan McGrail.

Lindia’s memory — and her fierce, proud love as Nana — will live on in every life she touched. A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Lindia will be laid to rest next to her mother at Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright, TX. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to this cemetery. Donations may be sent to P.O Box 368 Whitewright, TX 75491.
