  • The Creative Arts Center in Bonham is excited to announce that the Red River Arts Fest is coming back on Saturday, May 4. Organizers are planning a full day of art, wine, music and fun. The center is currently seeking art, wine and food vendors. There will be a limited number of art vendor spaces inside the center and more spaces outside under the large tent that will be set up in the parking lot. The center is also seeking a limited number of food trucks and wine vendors. Sponsorships are also available.
  • The Bonham school board unanimously approved hiring Dr. Joy Wilson as the new superintendent.
  • Wesley House Assisted Living is excited to announce that construction of its new Alzheimer’s/Memory Care addition is almost complete. Construction is scheduled to be finished in May and Wesley House anticipates being able to admit new residents starting in June. The new memory care addition will provide all-inclusive rates for care so you won’t have to worry about care level rates that create unexpected increases in costs. Deposits have already been taken for initial rooms.
  • Jane Semple Umsted's exhibit "Bolukta: Mississippian Designs, Medallions, and Modern Choctaw Art" opens April 16 at the Choctaw Cultural Center.
  • It was a delicious steak dinner with 1,100 of your closest friends, followed by a free concert by Cody Canada & The Departed in historic downtown Bonham, thanks to a year of work and planning by Fannin Agricultural Association, Inc.
  • The 16th annual Texoma Earth Day Festival will be April 20, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The festival is a fun, family-oriented event with a broad range of things attendees can participate in and enjoy. The event is at the Sherman Municipal Ballroom, Lucy Kidd-Key Park, and surrounding streets. The event offers children’s activities, educational workshops, vendors, music, demonstrations, displays and recycling. Registration for Vendors and sponsors will close on April 10, 2024.
