Commerce, Texas -- In Region III-1A bi-district action Monday night at Commerce High School, the Dodd City Hornets squared off against the Yantis Owls.

The Hornets, ranked No. 9 in Class A, came into the game as the top seed out of District 23A. Yantis was the fourth seed out of District 24A.

 Dodd City topped Yantis, 64-45.

The Hornets advance to the area round where they will face Forestburg, the second seed out of District 22-A.
