Robin Cole Jett to address Grayson County Historical Society Oct. 10

Grayson County, Texas -- Tuesday, October 10 starting at 6:30 p.m. the guest speaker for the Grayson County Historical Society will be Robin Cole Jett, the Red River Historian, telling the continuing story of Red River. In May of this year Robin was with our group and told the beginning of the River tale. This will be the second part.

Robin Jett, a born Texan, living in Denton County, received her bachelor's degree at East Texas State University; her Master's of Education at the University of North Texas; and her Master's of Arts in History from Texas Woman's University. She has completed some doctoral work in higher education and anthropology.
Robin has been the history instructor at various community colleges and is the author of seven books.

The Society meets the second Tuesday of the month at  6:30 pm in the Judge R.C. Vaughan Community Room of the museum at Grayson County Frontier Village at Loy Lake. The Park is located midway between Sherman and Denison off Hwy. 75, Exit 67. Meetings are open to members and their guests.
