Fannin County, Texas -- Fannin County Family Crisis Center invites you to decorate shirts to spread awareness by participating in our Clothesline Project! The Clothesline Project serves to educate the community and allows survivors of sexual abuse/domestic violence to heal by decorating a shirt. Survivors can express their emotions and share their stories anonymously by decorating a shirt to hang on our display in April.

Shirts can be designed in groups or on your own, whichever you prefer! Anyone can decorate a shirt, not just survivors. Some may decorate shirts in memory of a loved one lost to violence, and some may participate in solidarity with survivors.

If you would be more comfortable decorating your shirt at home, please give us a call and we will provide you with a shirt. Shirts need to be completed and returned by April 17 to be added to our display. To join a group painting party, the dates are as follows: April 11 at 5:30pm; April 12 at 12pm; April 15 at 12pm. All parties will be at the crisis center. For noon parties, you can bring lunch if you would like. You must RSVP to reserve your spot to paint a shirt! You can RSVP by filling out our Google Form: https://forms.gle/rFnh7QvCqm5ZFK8D8
