Melissa, Texas -- With the end of district competition rapidly approaching, the Sherman Lady Cats took a big steps towards the playoffs with a 14-point victory over the Melissa Lady Cardinals.

Sherman (4-6) is in fourth place with the final two district games coming up against Greenville (1-7) and Denison (3-6).
