Applicants for Deputies must be at least 21 years of age; current TCOLE Peace Officer’s Certification, and a valid Texas Drivers’ license.  All applicants will be subject to a criminal background check, physical, psychological evaluation, and drug screen.

Applicants for Dispatchers are required to have a valid Texas Drivers’ License, are subject to a criminal background check, physical and drug screen.

Starting salary is $45,300 for Deputies and $34,000 for dispatchers. Benefits include Vacation, Sick Leave, Holidays, Certification Pay, Medical, Dental & Life Insurance and TCDRS Retirement.
