If they keep this up, Whitewright will need a bigger bus to haul all their Lady Tiger powerlifters to regionals.

This season the Whitewright girls, coached by Aaron Whitmire, will be sending fourteen Lady Tigers to the Regional Powerlifting Meet to be held Saturday, February 26 in Mineral Wells.

These young ladies have a good idea what it will take to be successful at the regional level, because four of the powerlifters are three-year regional qualifiers and two more are back for their second shot at regionals.

Whitewright Regional qualifiers:Bottom row (l-r) Mallory Floyd, Tomasa Arreaga, Kaelin Roberts and Lauren Hathcock. Middle row: Ashley Terrell, Erica Vickers, Alyse Emerson, Amanda Kaczor and Lacci Martin. Back row: Mattie Pointer, Tasha Owens, Linsey Kaczor, coach Aaron Whitmire, Whytney Mask and Susan Farley.

Alyse Emerson and Whytney Mask both are back at regionals for the third time and both lady Tigers advanced to the state meet in 2004.  The other three-time regional qualifiers from Whitewright are Kaelin Roberts and Erica Vickers.

Linsey Kaczor and Laccie Martin will be representing Whitewright  for the second time at the regional meet.

The other Lady Tigers that qualified for the Regional Powerlifting Meet are Ashley Terrell, Mallory Floyd, Lauren Hathcock, Amanda Kaczor, Mattie Pointer, Susan Farley and Tasha Owens.

Congratulations to Coach Whitmire and his powerlifters for another very successful season.

Go get 'em, Lady Tigers!
