DENTON (UNT), Texas -- The University of North Texas Elm Fork Education Center will present CSI: Denton as its Family Fun Science Event for January. Family Fun Science Days, sponsored by UNT's Elm Fork Education Center, are designed to encourage children to explore the world of science.

This month's program will explore crime scene investigation techniques, as participants try to solve a mystery at the Elm Fork Education Center.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 22 (Saturday) at the UNT Elm Fork Education Center in the Environmental Education, Science and Technology Building, located at the corner of Hickory Street and Avenue C.

Admission is $6 for children and free for parents. January's admission fee allows attendees to participate in family fun science programs during the CSI: Denton event as well as view exhibits. Participants can also watch one of the Sky Theater shows. This month's selections include Just Imagine, showing at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and Mars: From Myths to Missions, showing at 2 p.m.
