Dodd City, Texas -- Dodd City sophomore Rion Baccus scored a game-high 20 points and Journie Hilliard was close behind with 18 points to help their Lady Hornets post a 31-point win over the Class 3A Leonard Lady Tigers.

The Lady Tigers only trained by two points, 7-5, after the first quarter, but Dodd City began pulling away in the second period to take a 19-10 lead into the locker room at halftime.

Dodd City poured in 26 points in the third quarter to lead 45-18 heading into the fourth quarter.

The Lady Hornets padded their lead by four points in the final frame to earn a 57-26 victory.

Dodd City, ranked No. 3 in Class A, improves to 6-0 with the win.
