Floyd, Jamieson and Burkhardt honored by Texoma Regional Blood Center

Sherman, Texas -- At the January 30, 2020 board meeting of Texoma Regional Blood Center, the Full Board membership voted unanimously to bestow upon Roy Floyd, Warren Jamieson and Minnie Burkhardt the honor of Emeritus Membership Status for their extraordinary service to the Texoma Regional Blood Center. Nameplates in their honor were placed on a special Emeritus Members Plaque that is displayed at the Blood Center. 

Bonham Mayor Roy Floyd served for 37 years on the Texoma Regional Blood Center’s Board of Trustees, and his tenure on the Blood Center’s Board has been the longest term served by any Trustee since the center’s inception in 1974.

Also recognized for their lengthy and outstanding service was Warren Jamieson of Bonham who served for  27 years and Minnie Burkhardt formerly of Denison, TX who served for 23 years.  Each Emeritus Member received a glass blood drop award recognizing their many years of service.

The Board of Trustees and Staff  of Texoma Regional Blood Center would like to thank each of them for giving so much of themselves to our Blood Center over those many years as their service has been truly appreciated.
