Open Arms is almost ready to open.  The building and furnishings are ready.  Sixty people have been trained as volunteers.  Additional volunteers are needed especially for helping with the organization of meals and volunteers.
Because of COVID-19 Open Arms will delay opening to comply with government guidelines to ensure the health of volunteers and future residents.

Volunteer applications are still being accepted and additional volunteer trainings will be held in the future.  Volunteer applications can be found at www.oashelter.com.
