Mother, by Chad Hamilton

Mother is the name for protection
Mother is the name that helps you mend
Mother in the name for the right direction
Mother is the name you never thought would end.

Lord won’t You take her in your arms
Like she’s done for me so many times
She gave me shelter from those raging storms
Please take away these sad effects of time

Mother is the name for protection
Mother is the name, a voice of reason
Mother is the name for a true friend
Mother is the name that breathes forgiveness

Lord won’t You take her in your loving arms
