Bonham, Texas -- Everyone is invited to join City of Bonham officials at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2019 for the groundbreaking ceremony of the splash pad, Bonham's newest addition to Powder Creek Park Community Playground!

Certain to be a favorite of area children, the splash pad was made possible in large part because of a $50,000 contribution from Bonham Economic Development Corporation (BEDCo), as well as more than $6,000 in donations from the community.

The splash pad will be located on the north side of Powder Creek Park, on the east side of Powder Creek Park Community Playground and north of the restrooms.

Total cost of the project is estimated to be slightly less than $84,000.

Powder Creek Park is located at 400 South 5th Street in Bonham.
