Garland -- It took five sets to finally pry the Lindsay Lady Knights and Beckville apart in the Class 2A state finals, with Beckville edging Lindsay, 16-14, in the tiebreaker.

Lindsay senior Ashley Fleitman led all hitters with 17 kills, while and Ashley Fleitman and Rachel Metzler both knocked down a dozen kills. Brianna Craigie had seven kills, with Kylee Fleitman and Kaylee Copeland each putting down one kill.

Jordan Tondreau led Beckville with 16 kills, Payton Jones put down 13 kills and Miranda Mize had 10 kills.

The Lindsay Lady Knights wrap up another exciting season with an impressive 41-4 record.
