Lindsay -- The Lindsay Lady Knights treated their hometown fans to a straight-set victory over Tioga.

Lindsay turned back Tioga, 25-22 in a pivotal first set. With the momentum, the Lady Knights cruised to wins of 25-14 and 25-8 in the next two sets for the sweep.

Ashley Fleitman finished with five aces and a dozen kills. Makenzie Fleitman knocked down nine kills, Brianna Craigie put down six kills, Macey Ott had five kills, Rachel Metzler contributed four kills and Kylee Fleitman had two kills.

Kaylee Colwell handed out 17 assists.

Olivia Hertel came up with 10 digs and Kathryn Worth had three digs.

Lindsay (25-3, 2-0) will travel to Saint Jo on Friday, September 14.  The varsity game will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the JV game.
