Valley View -- The Lindsay Lady Knights held off Valley View 25-19 in the opener, controlled the action in the second set for a 25-14 victory, and followed up with a 25-17 win for the sweep in the District 11-2A opener.

Ashley Fleitman had four aces, 11 kills and 20 assists. Makenzie Fleitman, Rachel Metzler an Brianna Craigie all slammed down seven kills apiece. Macey Ott finished with four blocks and five kills.

Kaylee Colwell handed out 18 assists.

Olivia Hertel came up with a team-high 17 digs.

Kathryn Worth had eight digs and Kylee Fleitman had a pair of kills.

Lindsay (24-3, 1-0) will host Tioga on Tuesday, September 11, beginning with the JV game at 5:00 p.m.  The varsity game will follow the JV.
