Lindsay -- Rachel Metzler, Makenzie Fleitman and Cassidy Grewing combined to knock down 30 kills to propel the Lindsay Lady Knights past the Whitesboro Lady Cats for a three-set win.

Lindsay had everything working in a 25-10 win to start the match and the Lady Knights followed up with a 25-14 victory in the second set. Lindsay turned back Whitesboro, 25-21, in the third set to get the sweep.

Rachel Metzler led the Lady Knights with 11 kills and Makenzie Fleitman was also in double digits with 10 kills. Cassidy Grewing was close behind with nine kills, Ashley Fleitman slammed down six kills, Kaylee Colwell and Brianna Craigie both contributed three kills and Kylee Fleitman finished with a pair of kills.

Ashley Fleitman handed out 22 assists to her Lady Knight hitters and Kaylee Colwell dished out a dozen assists.

Olivia Hertel and Kathryn Worth each came up with seven digs and Skylar Tatum had four digs.

Lindsay (8-1) will travel to Bronte to play in the 2018 Showdown Tournament on Friday and Saturday, August 24-25.
