Willie Mae Lehde

Bonham, Texas – Graveside services for Willie Mae Lehde, 86, of Hooks, Texas formerly of Bonham, Texas will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Willow Wild Cemetery. Bro. Gene Owens will officiate. Mrs. Lehde passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Heritage Nursing Center in Texarkana, Texas.

Willie Mae (Anderson) Lehde was born in Wisner, LA, on June 22, 1931 to Lennie Lee and Emmer Lee (Sisk) Anderson. Willie married Milton Marvin Lehde on June 18, 1961 in Dallas, Texas; he preceded her in death on May 3, 1989. She co-owned and operated Lehde’s Grocery Store in Bonham with her husband for 30 years. Willie was very protective of her loved ones; family was everything to her. She was a self-assured lady and of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by daughters, Jerry Dopson, and Cheyene Orr and husband Les; 12 grandchildren and their spouses; 27 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren; a long with a number of nieces and nephews.

Also preceding her in death are her parents, Lennie and Emmer Anderson; sons, Ronald Dean Dopson (died in infancy); and James Steven Dopson; and brothers, Bobby Lynn Anderson and JC Anderson.

Family visitation will be on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Bonham, Texas from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Taylor, Dale Trompler, Kevin Trompler, Josh Lehde, James Dopson and Rickey Stapp.
