Brenda Joyce (Bean) Passwaters was born on July 25, 1940 in Bonham, TX to Clyde Bean and Thelma Ruth (Davis) Bean Walters. She married Lew Edward Passwaters on February 10, 1962 in Dallas, TX; he preceded her in death on May 21, 2009. Brenda obtained a double major at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor and worked in the medical field in medical billing and coding. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was faithful in Sunday school and volunteered with the Manna House.

Left to cherish her memories are daughter, Kimberly Passwaters of McKinney, TX; sons, Brian Passwaters of Dallas, TX; Kevin Passwaters and wife Susan of Houston, TX and children, Hannah Passwaters, Ryan Parsons, and Matthew Parsons; and Mark Passwaters and wife Rachel of Little Elm, TX and son Edem Passwaters; mother and step father, Ruth and Luther Walters; nephews, Scott Hogle and wife Tammy of Garland, TX; Andy Hogle of Garland, TX and Michael Hogle of Garland, TX. She is also preceded in death by her father Clyde Bean.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Passwaters, Kevin Passwaters, Michael Hogle, Andy Hogle, Scott Hogle, and Tim Kleinman.

Family visitation will be prior to the service Friday, December 8, 2017 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home starting at 12:30 p.m.
