Pottsboro -- In day three of the Pottsboro Basketball Tournament, the Honey Grove Lady Warriors picked up a six-point win over the Gunter Lady Tigers.

Gunter led 17-15 after the first quarter, but Honey Grove clamped down on defense and pulled in front, 29-24, at intermission. The Lady Warriors had a slight scoring advantage in the second half to earn a 48-42 win.

Honey Grove's Makiyah Johnson scored 16, Isabella Morrison finished with 14 points, Diavian Shaw dropped in eight points, Demetria Pruitt put up four points, while Zakia Smith, Alexandra Morrison and Rozshanae Williams all put up two points apiece.

For Gunter, Gittens had 24 points, Putnicki put in 10 points, with Boddie and Carr both finishing with four points.
