On Saturday, June 19, 2004 Polly Ashby (aka) Grannyma and Minnie Pearl, celebrated her 85th birthday surrounded by friends and family. 

Polly was born on June 22, 1919 in Corinth, MS. 

She has one daughter, Paula Brown and husband, Melvin Brown of Van Alstyne, also known as the "best" son-in-law she has!

Son, Troy Ashby and wife, Bettie Ashby of Paris, Texas.

Son, Marshall Ray Ashby and wife, Debbie Ashby of Bonham, Texas.

She has 7 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Polly never meets a stranger, enjoys working in her yard, quilting at the Bonham SNAP Center, and loves to laugh and talk.
