A dozen Associa home office team members spent the morning of December 13 loading up some of the 11,000 toys collected by Community Partners of Dallas (CPD) for children in the Texas Child Protective Services (CPS) program. The following day, December 14, the Associa human resources department assisted with the toy drive at Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) helping pack-up thousands of toys, some of which were donated directly from Associa employees, that will be delivered to local kids in need.
“Associa was instrumental to CPD during Distribution Day. They lugged hundreds and hundreds of trash bags full of toys from the Peacock Alley warehouse to caseworkers’ vehicles for three straight hours,” remarked Community Partners of Dallas Volunteer Manager Sarah Holden. “Our organization couldn’t have done it without such dedicated volunteers!”
