Beverly Ann Saunderson Steele

Trenton, Texas -- Beverly Ann Saunderson Steele, 68, of Trenton was born November 2, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas. Her parents were Charles Ignatious and Ann Lucille Riehn Saunderson. She passed away unexpectedly July 2, 2016. She married Michael Dean Steele October 31, 1966 in Paris, Texas and she passed away just four months prior to their 50th wedding anniversary and only nine days before the death of her beloved husband Michael Dean Steele.

Beverly graduated from Kilgore High school and she was a wonderful wife and mother of two daughters. She was a member of the Leonard Community Fellowship Church and was loved by many.

She is survived by her daughters: Melissa Barton and husband George of Leonard and Michele Steele-Banks and husband Troy of Frisco; her grandchildren: Brandon, Jordan and Shelby Barton, all of Leonard; her brothers and sisters: Jewel and Larry Akers of Pleasanton, TX, Robert and Bea Saunderson of Universal City, TX and Billy Cain of Schertz, TX.; other family members: Elizabeth and Billy Bass of Paris, TX, Karen and Ronnie Holmes of Paris, TX and Michael and Judy Bass of Greenwood, AR. and her best friend, Linda Adams, of Paris, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ann Saunderson and her sister, Shirley Mangum.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church of Leonard, located at 206 N. Main Street in Leonard, with Pastor Willie Johnson and Pastor Adam Spore officiating.
