Bonham -- The Creative Arts Center's Annual Art Show and Contest opened Wednesday, August 27. Art will be accepted through Wednesday, September 3 in multiple categories including photography, painting, hand-pulled prints and many others. This year youth entries will be accepted for the first time.

Rules and Regulations and Entry Forms are available on the website or artists may pick them up at the gallery. Entry for non-members is $30 for up to three pieces of art and members and youth pay only $15 for up to three pieces. Adult prizes include a check for first place and ribbons to third place. Youth prize categories will be split into age groups if entries permit. Categories may also be combined if necessary.

The gallery will close at noon on Friday, September 5 for the judging and winners will be revealed that evening at the opening reception between 5 and 7 PM. The public is invited to attend and admission is free.
